Mr. Janat Gul Afridi belongs to a noble family of District Khyber. He is a PCS -SG(BPS-20) officer. He holds an M.A. in Political Science and joined government service on 26 May 1997. He was promoted through the scales to BS-20 on 3rd October 2019. Over a long administrative career he has served in a wide range of departments — beginning as Section Officer posts C&W, O&M & S&GAD, Finance and Population Departments) and progressing to senior management roles including Additional Secretary (Irrigation), Additional Secretary (Industries), Additional Secretary (Zakat & Ushr), Project Director (Computerization of Land Records Phase-I), Special Secretary (Agriculture), and Director General, PDMA. Prior to his tribunal appointment he served as Member (General), Governor’s Inspection Team, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He is now appointed as Member (Executive), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Service Tribunal.
